One of Goodpasture’s very own students has creatively developed and shared his own game. Freshman Keston Ashmeade created his game, Texamo, which is available to play on Google Docs.
Ashmeade came up with the idea for the game back in December and has been working on it since.
“Right now the game is mostly free-roam,” Ashmeade said. “You spawn into the world and you can run around and fight enemies.”
The game costs $1 to play. Once you are added to the Google Document, there will be a few options to choose from. This includes a rules section if you need help understanding the game and a section for World 1 for when you want to get started.
“I think that it’s a good and creative way to make money,” junior Mikaela King said.
Once you click on “Imperial Empire World 1,” you start at a spawn point and use the six-sided die provided to navigate through the map.
“I really like the gameplay of the game,” junior DeAundre Woods said.
Ashmeade recently added new updates to the game to enhance the gameplay.
Alongside a brand new location to explore, he added areas to buy weapons and armor, training areas where you can fight enemies, and more.
“If you land on a ladder tile, you can climb along the wall and fight the Imperial Ranger,” Ashmeade said.
The Texamo Google Doc also holds the Nexsus Hubworld, which has Ashmeade’s other games, such as Goblin Slayer, and is where players can buy Texamo currency.
Ashmeade shared that the game is available for $1, and we will see many more updates soon.
