On Nov. 26 2025, “Zootopia 2” made its arrival into theaters. This long awaited movie is the second to the original “Zootopia,” which came out almost ten years ago. 

The story of “Zootopia 2” revolves around a bunny cop Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and her fox partner Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman). They are trying to solve another case, this time involving reptiles—a hated class of animals in Zootopia.

The story continues to evolve while Hopps and Wilde track the reptile down. They discover untold secrets and the fact that everything in Zootopia may not be as it seems.

The movie introduces many new characters as well, including Garry De’Snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan), Nibbles Maplestick (voiced by Fortune Feimster), and many more. Each actor embodies the voice of their character astoundingly. 

Feimster makes her character come to life by radiating energy with her voice that matches Maplestick’s bubbly personality. Goodwin’s voice for her character changes slightly in this movie, giving Hopps a deeper mentality that shines through in the final scene with Wilde.

Many twists and turns keep the audience captivated. For instance, when the audience is introduced to Garry De’Snake, they believe he will be the criminal, but he ends up becoming one of the main protagonists of the story.

The plot evolves and grows with the characters, causing many themes to come to life. For example, at the end of the movie, a heartwarming scene between Hopps and Wilde encourages the audience to speak what’s in their heart.

The overall movie is pleasant and keeps the audience interested. It is definitely a family-friendly movie that all ages can enjoy. 

The movie makes its way out of theaters and is expected to be available to buy or rent in late January. Its arrival to Disney Plus will be in March for everyone with the streaming platform to enjoy the movie freely.
