This month, Beta Club is working on The Bridge ministry, as well as preparing the M.A.G.I. boxes for families in need. The Bridge ministry is a ministry that packs food and meals for communities in need. The M.A.G.I. boxes are Christmas boxes filled with specific items that are shipped to help families all over the world.
Every month, Beta Club members are provided with 4-5 projects to serve the community, half of which are on campus and the other half off campus.
“Being an officer is more enjoyable because I feel like I can organize what the Beta Club serves,” junior Beta Club Officer Eden Dominski said. “I love to serve so it in a way fulfills my purpose.
The Beta Club is an honors society that students grades 10-12 are invited to if they have at least a 3.3 GPA and maintain their grades.
The Beta Club meets in the PAC at 7:20 a.m. every second Wednesday of the month. English Teacher Becky Boyd and Admissions Director Kim Toliver are the sponsors. The officers are Ella Morgan, Addie Ruffin, Grady Goodman, Eden Dominski, Maddie Pennington, Olivia Harding, Auburn Haun, Faith Ivy, and Max Head.
