Goodpasture Varsity Cheer, which includes twenty students, is working hard for their first competition of the 2024-2025 season, which will be held on Nov. 17 at the Cheerville Showcase in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
“The grind never stops; show up and support us at our first competition. We have so much fun,” senior Addie Rose McClellan said.
Every Monday night, the cheerleaders are dedicated to practicing their competition routine while cheering on other sports throughout the week. As basketball season begins, Goodpasture Cheer will be cheering at all girls and boys varsity basketball games.
Mrs. Brandy McWilliams has been the cheer coach for 24 years.

“We love Coach Mac!” senior Sarah Carver said. Carver has cheered for GHS all four years.
